i have about 6000 miles on my new 6.0 and am thinking about using synthetic oil now. anybody have any comments (good or bad). if you are using it then what kind works best and what weight. is this the time to start or should i wait a little longer. if you are using it then how long between oil changes. i assume then using it will not void ford's warranty.

Tom, I usually hear 10,000 as the number many wait for. Diesels can take some time to properly break-in.
