: Put some 19.5s on today!
White Duramax 07-23-2004, 09:12 PM Well a put a set of 19.5 Alcoa's on a 2004 Chevy 3500 4x4 D/A. I am really impressed by the way it looks. The tires are 265/75R19.5 Yokahoma 303's. Also installed Bilsteins in the front, rears on backorder. The adapters are Arrowcraft 8 to 10 bolt. I really like the quality on the adapters. They fit a little tight but they work. We raised the front torsion bars 6 turns, trimmed the air dam, and zip tied the inner fender liner back. The lug caps were the wrong size so we dont have them on yet. Also the front caps do not fit right with the adapters, we were not told this by chrome wheel. They ended up having to be trimmed to fit. I do not like that at all and think something else needs to be made or done there. Otherwise it is a sweet setup. Here are some pics of it.

SWEEEEEEEETTTT!!!
I've never been a fan of GM's new dually's for some reason, but your truck is awesome!! Probably the best looking one I've seen. Those wheels REALLY set it off.
Are those wheels aluminum, chrome or what?
Alcoas? What did they run $$$?
joshz06 07-25-2004, 03:37 PM they are aluminum, 19.5 Alcoas around 4500
Road Boss 07-25-2004, 03:57 PM White Duramax, did you figure out how to post those pictures yet?
White Duramax 07-25-2004, 08:06 PM I will try them tonight as I have pics now with all the caps and lug nut covers on. You need to see one in person, pics do not do justice to how sweet the setup is. Talk about an attitude change. I know if I had a dually I would have to have 19.5's. Josh, what grille is that in your truck??
Harley99 07-25-2004, 11:51 PM Josh
I have never been a fan of dually trucks, but after seeing your truck.........well want to trade. Damn thats a good looking truck. Thanks for posting the picture, may have to consider one for the next time.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
hdmax 07-26-2004, 12:18 AM Very nice setup! If I had the dually, I'd definitely want wheels and tires like those. Is the $4500 include the wheel adapters?
joshz06 07-26-2004, 06:08 AM yes shipping and all
ockgator 07-27-2004, 12:33 AM drop another 1500 on it for a rancho 4" lift and return the torsion bars to near stock, the ride should be better and you're not stressing the cv's as bad, I learned the hard way, tried 33's with cranking bars only, they fit but cv's vibrated and made strange noises, lifted, now run 35's without noise and vibrations
Terrain Twister 08-01-2004, 02:06 AM How do the 19.5's ride?
joshz06 08-01-2004, 08:33 AM I don't mind the ride, I do get a little shake sometims.

Road Boss 08-09-2004, 11:45 PM Looks good!
White Duramax 08-10-2004, 09:54 AM I believe josh has 265/70R19.5's, that is also what is on this truck.
