After Beta Testing all of these test modules Rob called me Friday and asked if I would test one with the Attitude Monitor. I said I would but I have been running without the Attitude the entire time. Question is I run on level 3 around town and level 2 while towing what are the best settings so I don't blow the tranny. Also where do you feed the wire through the firewall?

Instructions w/the combo suggests running it out the door ~ it has been working ok that way for me. I personally ran level 2 'til the tranny upgrade and haven't had a good reason to change ~ yet

I'm expecting my new beta today ~ Rob indicated that this shud be the fix we've been expecting. They changed the way the box communicates w/the attitude.

What is the fix addressing? The freezing Attitude and/or the engine stalling?

I have one of the orriginal attitudes (3 years old) on my 03 and have yet to have an issue. Maybe I should keep it and not dink around? I was hoping maybe Edge would have a software update that would get me better MPG.. ???

Rob is sending me a the latest Beta Version which I should receive today. I have not run the attitude before but will hook it up and play with it. My current Beta version is working great so I know the final fix is near.

I can tell you on my attitude I run on everything but level 5.. and I run my ppe on 1. So.. if I am not having problems running the hot +2 on 1 and the juice on 3... YOU shouldn't have a single problem... but I do wish you the best of luck in finding out what is best

Should I keep it in defuel on all locked shifts or just 4 and 5? Don't want to buy a tranny just yet

I also received the latest beta box w/*** yesterday and installed last night. I ran wire through the rubber grommet just behind the fuse box with other wires. More work than out the door, but I don't want broken wires in the future. I have it setup to defuel on all not just 4 & 5. To each his own.
The attitude is showing better response than past versions but I haven't gotten it out on the superslab yet.

I installed mine today and ran it through the door. I will keep an eye on the wires. It was very easy to set up I was impressed. I have version 4.2 for the Beta Module and I thing 1.81 or something for the attitude. Worked great on its maiden voyage..Jim

Is there anything special I need to do to get the tranny slip function to work? When I have that setting come up on the attitude monitor it registers N/A even when brought up to the operating temperature. It seems to monitor everything else but I do not have the EGT probe and Boost line connected as they are already displayed on other guages I have.

It only measures slip when the tranny is locked. Are you running around in town unlocked? Have you tried it on the highway or with T/H on?

I run around town without the tow/haul on and it only seems to lock in 5th gear. I am not sure about how the other gears lock but assume it is in Tow/Haul..Jim

Then you will only see N/A for slippage. The T/C has to be locked for it to report slippage (otherwise the slippage is all in the T/C, not the clutches).

Go for a boot on the highway with T/H on and it should report "0" instead of N/A.

Then turn it up to 5 and boot it up a hill (preferable pulling something) to see how high you can get the slip percentage to :) Let me know what the tranny costs and I promise to send you a dollar towards it:devilfing

Thanks TW It works fine with the Tow/Haul mode on. Current Beta Version 1.81 Beta on the attitude and 4.2 Beta on the module. Working fine 1 week. Hopefully this is the final fix. Never had run the attitude before and I really like the features and ability to change the power settings at the touch of an arrow button. .Jim
