I have a 1996 GMC 1500 with a 6.5 that I am in the process of converting myself. Can anyone tell me, hopefully with a picture, where to tap into the coolant lines at. I know that you are suppose to tap into the heater lines. Which one is going into the heater and which one is coming out.
Also I want to tap into the fuel lines to install the pollak 6-way valve. Do I have to take the intake off to access the lines? Thanks and God Bless.

Welcome to Diesel Place. Be sure to read the FAQs & stickys at the top of the 6.5 section. Also fill in your signature to let us know what you have.
Frybrid out of Seattle has some pictures of a 6.5 Suburban:

You could PM Asnowsquall as he used to have a WVO powered Suburban.

Beware your Pollack valves have been known to fail with the heat a good conversion will provide. I have completed a 6.5 conversion that ran seamlessly. I would be happy to assist. Also I think that the forum at Frybrid.com is the best.

Thank you for all of your help. I did figure out where to tap into my fuel and coolant lines thanks to the former post. I have all the lines ran, and I plan on completing the conversion the next couple of weeks. Christmas put me behind. I will post my results when I finish. God Bless.

Here's a link to a gallery at Frybrid.com that has my Burb on it.
Enjoy, knock on wood, running great at about 8,000 miles.
Take care,
