My truck is just a hair short of 35,000 miles and once again its like someone is flipping a switch every 5,000 miles, this truck just keeps getting stronger and stronger everyday.
I normally run in level 4 but will have to back it down to level 3. I cant touch the fuel peddle without spinning the tires, even in 4x4 its just neck snapping acceleration. One of my cars is a C5 Corvette, I’m willing to bet the truck will keep up with it till about 80-90mph.
The more I tow the better it seems to run.
Am I alone in this, does anyone else feel this in their truck. I swear it happens about every 5k??

Diesels are meant to be driven hard and worked hard.

I know the harder I run mine the better she likes it...........

I don't know if you need to see the Dr...........well at least not anymore than the rest of us nutshttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

I haven't noticed my truck gaining any based on mileage.....it does have days when I think I somehow got in the wrong truck........I honestly scare myself with acceleration..........don't know why it is this way......everything just seems to hook up like glue and YER GONE!

I have had the arse end come around on rainy days and take me completely by suprise. I drive on level 5 all the time.........keeps the allison from flaking out on me.

So yes it makes a ton of power but you'd think I would be use to it by now. Some days it feels like it has an extra 80 horse or so.

Air quality....fuel quality....cetane....dunno.........but something changes and that big thumping diesel just goes like a scalded cat!
