OK so my 05 has been very sluggish lately it has no power and pulses when I get on it hard. It pulses even worse when I bump up my power on the edge. It’s cold here now so I got my covers on, I replaced the fuel filter and put in some fuel additive to see if it helps, it didn’t. I’m thinking Injectors or fuel rail maybe? What you guys think the truck is still under warrantee with only 20,000 miles on it.

quick tie it to the upper rad hose. edge does not like low temp.

Take off the edge and see if you still have the same issues..

Slower than stock slow? Maybe you're just not used to it without the edge?

Maybe a bad tank of fuel ???

I didn’t realize the difference in fuel until I did a cross country. One tank made me feel like I has two turbo’s on the truck, and other tank full made me feel like I had a 6 cylinder. HUGE difference

winter cover could be affecting air flow. If the engine is starving for air, even a little bit it could make a difference.

Little bit of fuel additive goes a long way .

I just had the same thing happen to mine last Saturday. It's all stock, but I do have a winter front on it.
It was about -30C (-22F) without the windchill which is a common day up here this time of year.
It was running fine for several miles, and I had about 1/2 a tank of fuel. I put my foot in it a bit on a straight stretch and it fell flat on it's face... no power at all. I couldn't give it more than 1/4 pedal before it would buck and sputter.
I came (limped) back to town, topped off the fuel assuming I may have had some condesation in the tank from sitting a week or so at half a tank in temps ranging from -5C to -30C.
The weird thing is, when I started it after fueling up, it was immediately better. If it was a condesation problem I would think it would need to run through the system before improving.
I was on my way to do an oil change anyway, so I changed my fuel filter at the same time and there was no water in the separator.
All this leads me to believe that some sort of sensor tripped out when I lost power, and a restart just reset the system.
Any thoughts?
I moved my question to it's own thread, I realized I may have been thread hijacking with this involved of a question.

I had the same problem, and turns out it was the fuel filter. I have my own tanks at home, so everytime the trucks begins to slow i just change the fuel filter and the problem is fixed for a while
