When modifying these LBZ (6speed) engines, what is the order of things to limit you? I.e.
360 hp stock
425 intake limits more flow
450 exhaust flow limits hp/too much back pressure/high exhaust temps
450 trans starts going out
475 fuel system limits more
500 hp, turbo cannot keep up
550 Injectors cant flow enough
600 hp con rods bit it
700 cranks drops out?

I've seen tuners/programers that make over 250 hp.
I'm sure a stock truck fuel or boost system cannot support that, or can it?
I've also seen sites that say trans mods are needed for 400+ hp. So my allison cant take 40 more hp?
I've also posted and read the trans can take 80-100hp more without problems, but more will be asking for trouble.
How far can you go with the basic 3: programer, intake, exhaust?

Every truck is a little bit different. The best bet is to watch McRat's posting on Wendy. I think They are pushing all the limits to see what happens. They are developing the PPE Programer (Hot) with this set up with I think a 1057 suncoast converter and transgo jr. kit in the tranny. It must have a uplift pump (not sure) they have dynoed it with 480+ HP to the ground (stock LBZ puts about 300 HP to the ground I think).

The usual limits are about 100hp but some will say more on the 6-spd allison. My best guess with what I am running right now safely would be about 125-150 but I am not hard on it at all at this time. I have trans mods in the works and a fuel system to help with that aspect but once you get close to 450 or 500 then you need to be thinking about trans, intake, exhaust, gauges, and fuel..
