...you stated you "fixed" your filter minder. What exactly did you do? I've used both paper and K&N filters and never had the minder move at all. Now I'm wondering (via your post) if my filter minder isn't working as it was designed to.....?
Thanks for your anticipated reply http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

I pulled mine out and filled the opening with black silicone. I also put some silicone around the fitting. No dirt is getting past my filter minder. Change your filter acording to scheduled maintenece and you do not need the minder anyways.

Actually, I cracked mine some time ago. I must've gotten a bit rough with it when the box was out for whatever reason.
It was cracked around the rim so I just ran some electrical tape around the rim to keep it from leaking...

Thanks for the replies. I just took mine out and checked it, it would click 4 times with more vacuum needed for each click.

Excellent idea! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif I also sealed mine after someone else also posted about sealing their restriction gauge... Here's some pics...

Just be careful nothing lets loose. It's on the clean side of your airbox and any foriegn matter goes through the turbo...... through the intercooler and if it makes it that far... into the motor.
