Here's another question from the peanut gallery.
My truck in 75 degree weather, with varied highway/city driving has been loitering at 200 degrees on the thermostat. I have no grill obstructions, the radiator is clean and the fins are straight, the coolant water/antifreeze mix is right. At one point I drove to another town and back on the freeway just to see if I could even drop the temperature.. Figured 65 mph winds might help shed some of the heat, considering I kept her at 2k rpm which is what it seems I end up cruising at in town. Banks was on 0.
Anyone have any comments or suggestions? I'm hoping that everything is fine. I haven't had any boil over issues, and when I was towing on the way up to alaska the fan would kick in at about 210. Just trying to figure out if she's just a hottie or if she's actually running a temperature and needs to see "doc goodwrench".
Thanks for any replies.
