i have another quick question for the tech guys. i have a 2003 duramax allison and i just got done changing out the front and rear differential gears from 3.73 -4.56 gears and now the abs light keeps coming on i can clear it out with the hypertech power programmer but how can i get this problem fixed. do i need to use the tech 2 to re calibrate it or what should i do? hypertech said there programmer can fix it but i bough it and i still did not fix the problem. once again please help!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

the reason i changed these gears out is i have a 8" lift and 37" tires

Call Diesel Tech at TTS (http://www.ttspowersystems.com/), you may need custom software written.........besides........spinning those meats you might want some extra TQ and HP.......

with a tts programmer can you return your truck to stock without removing the computer and sending it in

I'm sure the computer in your truck is seeing the difference in motor rpm and tranny rpm and wheel rpm and doesn't know what to think about it. I guess it realy doesn't think but it falls out of the typical perameters.

You can get a programmer and you can fix it. I had that same issue with changing gears on my old truck. Should not be a problem. I think that predator and hypertech do this. Not sure about any of the others.

Tech II........ Call John Kennedy, or Eric. I bet either one would help. TTS can make you anything you want... it's just that you'll need to swap your ECM or PCM before the truck goes in for service... hopefully never.
