I don't think that is it. Indication was the TSB called out a new accumulator and other parts.

Jim Mine had nothing to do with the accumulator. It had too much R134. "

I'm going through this right now. Brought it in and the tech said my compressor was bad. They overnighted a new one, installed it and called and said it was ready. Picked it up and drove several miles and it had the same problem, it didn't work! Returned to the dealer and the Service Advisor pulled the TSB while the Service Manager was looking at it. They have a accumulator ordered now. Will wait and see. The Service Manager was not very happy with the tech. but, on the plus side, I do have a new compressor now.

Just had my 04 GMC fixed at the dealer for weak A/C. I believe they evacuated the system and replaced the orifice tube. Cools grate now.

lch0 You were one of the one's that that worked on. The service manager at the local dealer called Tech Service on mine. They told him that only worked on some vehicles, and wouldn't authorize then to do it on mine. The new accumulator would be out soon. There is a TSB out now 02-01-38-007C
