My question is Should I use primrose 405? My thinking behind this is if you use this it will keep your injectors healthy. Right? I know my truck has had 3 injectors replaced and I feel that all 8 need replaced then I will use primrose. Is this logical or am I full of s*it? Please let me know.

In order to protect our fuel system, bosch says that the fuel needs to provide enough lubricity to meet minimum 460 microns HFRR wear test. A typical u.s. fuel can test out around 600 microns. The only additives that I have seen with acceptable hfrr test results are stanadyne and shell rotella DFA. In other words, I would use one of these over primrose.

My question is if I use an additive will this prolong my injectors lifespan? I would feel better if I had 8 new injectors in then do the additive. Does this make sense?

That's a view I have heard by others expressed here.

My wife uses my truck to tow horses - not sure when or where they (the injectors) might die. Wife must be happy - truck must be reliable, so I am lubing them babies *alot*. Double dose of stanadyne lubricity formula plus a splash of stanadyne performance formula right now...
