My '04 LB7's compass goes out of calibration frequently. When it goes out of calibration the CAL symbol shows in the compass display.

To fix it I drive about 10 seconds in a circle (per the manual) and it re-calibrates. Problem is re-calibration only lasts about a week before the compass wacks out again. I actually use my compass but I am tired of driving in circles.

Are you set to the proper zone?

The saturn use to get stuck, show E while you where facing north. Did the rest thing also, worked for a day at most. Dealer swaped out the senser, no change. They ended up replacing the mirror. My dads would show 99 when it was 49. He got a new mirror and windshield(long story).

I have the same problem with my Chrysler Sebring, but my truck and wife's Plymouth van has never had to be recalibrated. If you're under warranty, I recommend asking for a replacement.
