My change oil change message came on today and since i dont use it i tried to reset it but it wouldnt I dont have the steering controls so i am using the 3 pump gas pedal method I tried it about 20 times and let a buddy try it to and no luck he said maybe its your remote start so i flipped the switch off and that was it first try and it reset my question is why would the remote start affect this it is a audiovox add on remote start and i installed it myself but it works perfect every time and all wiring seems to be corect any insight is much appreciated
