Guys,
I am looking at a brand new Duramax Diesel LBZ at the local Chevy dealer. The truck has 10 miles on it, pewter color, 4 door, no cab lights (which it sucks but oh well), short bed, etc. They want $35,000 for it. Is that a nice deal or you think they ask to much?

In the first week of june i got my 06 lbz Lt3 Fully loaded long bed, except moon roof, or sun roof whatever it was, and running boards for slightly over 36k it wasnt even $100 over 36k.

I bought a 06 LBZ 5 months ago 4x cc white no lights,cloth 402040 LT1 out the door 35with tax and tags 45 sticker

Paid 35K for mine... Silver Birch CC 2500HD, Duramax/Alli, 4x4, longbed, LT1 trim, 6way electric seat, dealer installed tube steps, heated rear window, trailer towing package, trailer mirrors, electric shift 4x4..that's about it.

I don't think it's a great deal. they should be trying to move the '06's.
Purchased my 2006 SLT extended cab for $35K on the last day of August. It listed for $46K and had a Sale price offer of $36K. I paid about 24% below sticker.

i bought mine for 37 and its an LT2

I paid 46K OTD for my '07 GMC 2500HD LBZ SLT 4SA. Sticker was 49K.

Its a 4wheel drive, Lt1 package.
Can someone who knows about the package deals post what they mean?

Select the year and other stuff add your zip. Then pops up the different option pkg's. Select each one and see what it offers. Then select the inventory of your dealership and it will tell you what it has. Hope this is what you need.

Personnally if its 35 out the door i would say its not a back deal at all.

I'd say it is a good deal. I am buying a new '06 as a company vehicle. I just got my dealer's quote back today. Basically $37,500 out the door. This is a LT1, 4x4, DMAX, ALLI, EXTENDED CAB, SB. I was thinking the CC is about $2K more than this. What we need to understand are the changes in the market that will happen after Jan. 1, 2007. The new emissions equipment will raise the price around $2500 - $3000. This on top of the ordinary yearly price increases and the price increase for the new model style. Also, during this model change, we may not see the dealers drop prices to move the old models off the lot. Many of us will be afraid of owning the first new emissions standards vehicles. There are plenty of new parts not tested "by the masses" that could go bad quick. I think we will see a increase in the used light truck diesel market.

I paid 34,500 otd for my 06 cc 4x4 LT1 with xm, camper mirrors @ power seat. I think there is about $4000-$4500 markup on an LT1 $1,000 rebate and $1000 bonus cash. Sounds like a pretty good deal.I bought mine 2 months ago rebates may be better now.

paid 41500 cc slt 4sa plus tax it came to 46000 and some change in ill that was with 5.99 for 6years in febuary i did have 3000 from my gm card this truck listed foe 52000

Bought mine first of September for $33,500 plus TTT. It's a 4wd CC/SB LT1 with onstar/XM, carpet.

I would think that you should be able to get it for $31-32k area since 07's are fixing to hit the lots.

i paid 35000.00 for mine, there is a high demand now for the lbz..
