I thought I would try another title to try and gain some opinions on this topic. Thanks

Hello all, I am looking at some 18x10 Weld wheels. These so far has been the only ones I could find with a 5.5" backspace. I would go with a 9.5" wide but can't find one with the correct backspace. I have looked at them all and had others look. The Weld's will have to be built with this backspace. In know there are some 20" wheels with these specs but I am wanting an 18" wheel for more sidewall.
My question is on the 10" width. What do the guys with 10" wheels or any other size wheel think the pro's and con's are? I know everyone has a personal preference but wanted to see if the people using them can give me some first hand feedback. These are my thoughts;
:help:

Pro's
1. Able to run a 305 or a 325 tire,(I am leaning toward the 325/60/18 Pro Comp :drool::D ), without the "balooning affect" of a 9" wheel.
2. Looks great.
3. Only wheel I have found in 9.5" or 10" wide with 5.5" backspace.

Con's
1. Expensive wheels
2. Hard on bearings?
3. Stick out from fenders more

Should I just stick with a 9"?

I really enjoy this site and all the helpful members. I look forward to all the input. Thanks everyone. :thankyou2

Is no one running a 10" or 9" wheel. I really would like some help from you guys. I would just like to know what you think good or bad. I have done some searches which really didn't give me any answers. Thanks.

I have the 10" but with 4.5 backspacing. I didn't see 5s. Where did you get them?

Anyway, they stick out further than regular flares can cover. I ended up using Bushwacker Cut Outs on the back and making my own for the front.

Yes, they are harder on suspension parts. I even added a ram assist to the steering to help turn the SOBs on pavement.

I have 10" wide welds with 4 5/8" of back spacing. They look great, but the fronts stick out about 2" past the stock fender flares. I have my t-bars cranked all the way up, and they still rub a little on the inner fender liner evern with them zip tied back out of the way. I also had to trim the front air dam and part of the inside of the bumber to make them not rub. They do look great though. They seem to be very hard on suspension components though.

I am running 20x 10 with a +12 backspace, with 275/55/20. I am not having any rubbing problems, I was running them stock and with the front end lifted, they fit perfect and are even with the fender flare :D

That is a cool wheel. I wish they made it in a 18 with that offset. I ran the offset and came up with about 6" backspace. Do you not have any problems on the inside? Thanks for the help.
