Personally, I agree that they're not the best looking wheels, even though I have them on.

The deal is the deal!!

Come on, $500 for a set of 315/70/17 BFG AT KOs Mounted and balanced on a set of wheels that fit out trucks perfectly !?!?!? I dont care if they're on wagon wheels, thats a steal http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I get compliments on my chromed H2's with 315's all the time. At least every time I get fuel. Not one person has ever even mentioned they looked like H2's or anything else they recognize. I suspect we see & hear more about them here at the Palce, but I've not seen a single other truck with them on in the Atlanta area.

I've had over 13,000 hits viewing them on my Webshots. I've had to write a form letter to respond to all the guys that have seen them and want to know all about them. Say what you want, but lots of us think they're cool!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif Including me!!!Edited by: DMAX2DAMAX

What is the load rating of the H2 stock tires? Whats the down side when towing/hauling heavy loads other than gear ratio has changed. I like the looks but I still need to haul loads.

So I found a dealer near me that will sell me the takeoffs for a reasonable price, I was thinking about getting them and using them only for non-towing and then when I tow, I'll swap back the OEM tires and wheels. I don't mind cranking the torsion bars. I read the other thread by babyfacedavid but was wondering if anyone else had any problems or did anything else when putting on the H2 takeoffs. . .

Thanks,
Dennis

I have no lift kit but did crank the TB's 1 3/4", trimmed the lower front bumper air dam and tied back the inner fenders in a couple spots. I only rub ever so slightly when backing over miami curbs with my ski boat. Mostly due to the angle.

I'm traveling for business so I can't check the load rating. I use the Quadzilla tuner to kick up th HP & torque to make up for the tire size. 70HP is plenty to surpass stock seat of pants feel, 110HP and above really makes a difference.

If load rating is adequate towing is fine as long as on highways. I think any rough road/off road would be a real problem though.

I dont have the exact numbers handy, but the H2s are Load D but have a higher rated capacity than the Load Es that came stock!

According to www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?make=BFGoodrich&model=All-Terrain+T%2FA+KO) They are 3195 lbs. I cant get the BFG site to pull up for me.

If the tirerack site is correct which I would assume the stock SteelTex All Terrains are 3042 lbs.
