Just hooked up last night to the Wifey's Goat and V2 worked like a charm, i've already deleted the damn skip shift and played with the shift light.

I did notice that in the selection drop down when you select what you're reading, ie lly, lb7, allison, it just says GEN IV (E40). Now her car is a manual so there's nothing really to read there, I doubt there is a TCM at all, but if you had the automatic option is all that data broadcast across the Can link? I'm use to having to select TCM vs. PCM and I didn't know if you were able to pull all the data off the CAN link on the new vehicles.


Way to go guys, great product.

I'm not sure the menu list is variable enough in the code to allow it to drop options based on what it detects on the bus, but an interesting idea for sure.
As for skip shift....where is the law!.

There is no law on the skip shift, it's a GM employed option only. they use it for Fuel economy, freakin retards. It's a real PITA when you are expecting 2nd gear and you end up in 4th!
