I've done some researching, and it sounds like my first mod should be an egt.

I don't know much about diesels, as this is my first one, and I love it!!
Let me know your opinion/experiences and some pics of your egt gauges if you have any.

The mods I have been considering are egt, torsion keys to get a little more height, breather and maybe exhaust.
In what order would you get these mods?

cheers:D

If you aren't going to do any engine or programming mods anytime soon, I would go with exhaust. If you pull a lot or plan on doing performance mods, then definitely get a pyrometer.

My first mod was getting a Turbo back 5" exhaust (no CAT) to lower my EGT's when towing. I run a muffler (not stock) so it isn't very loud but, you can really hear the turbo when you let off the peddle. I blocked the EGR and figered. I run the Perditor at 65hp tune and when towing I run 45hp tune. I towed without it this last weekend and I could tell the difference going up the steep mountains. The lift, big tires, traction bars are for the off road stuff and I can't back my toy hauler into the driveway without the lift. The trailer had to be lifted also, 6" and it barly makes it. The traction bars stopped the spring warp/ wheel hop.

Agreed with all mostly the window tint.

First id block the EGR (stops exhaust gasses from going back into the engine)

then no matter what remove the cat
