Has anyone had a magna flow exhaust system on there truck

We have had several and installed several more. They are a quality system that fit and sounds great.

Got one on mine and I'm happy with it. I really don't have any other brands to compare it to though since this is my first diesel.

Is It Loud Or Kinda Quiet

Not real loud, good sound and easy to install.

I ran it for a couple years. My 04.5 LLY had a terrible drone with it. I swapped out for MBRP and the drone was gone.

I've got one. 4" ss turbo back w/ no cat and love it. not too loud but not too quiet. sounds sweet when you jump on it.

although I have a dodge... it's worth mentioning...

I put in a 30" straight thru Magnaflow in place of the stock muffler & lost the kitty. lost some low end torque (afe stage2 intake w/pg7 filter). About 2 months ago I installed an aero turbine 4040 where the cat used to be. low end came back some (very noticeable) and egt's werent affected too much (I dont tow) from what I can tell.

have magnaflow cat back, did some tests to find out if the drone I was hearing was coming out the tail pipe or just hearing it in the cab. Come to find out the muffler was droning bad. Took the muffler out and stuck in home made straight pipe. 100% better, no drone, yet better sound. Besides the LLY is so quiet anyways you can run with out any muffler and still quieter than my brothers CTD stock... my .02

Me too.

It makes a very loud weird sound @ WFO. It wakes people up.

@ idle it is still very quiet out of the tip, more of a hiss than anything else.

Nice deep burble sounds like it is under the truck. Not very loud, but I like it that way.

bought my truck used and it has a cat back on it. i can hear it at idleing a little, normal driving i really dont hear it at all, but when i get on it i can hear a nice tone to it

I really like the growl when you get on it. It's not that loud at idle. If you don't go past 2000 rpm on the highway, it's not too bad. When I get around 2200 or so rpm, it gets pretty loud with the drone.
