Had injector shock today. Have 02 durmax - injectors replaced at 112,000. Now at 220,000 have four failed injectors again. Dealer quotes $2700, says GM warranty on replacement injectors is 12,000 mles. Okay any help? Anyone had their injectors fail a second time and have them replaced by GM? If so - can I get proof that GM did replace them? How about a sercet service bulletin to the dealers. Man -$2700 for four injectors and a fuel filter - help

Ouch!! GM knows that the injectors are a problem. Maybe you can call customer service and see what they can do for you. I know, a long shot huh? Good luck.

If they were replaced at the dealer, do a VIN check on this site and it will show up in the check, IF they logged it at the service department.

Go to the home page and scroll down and you will find the VIN check area.

I had my injectors replaced a total of three times by the dealer under the special policy# 04039, but this is only good for 200,000 miles or 7 years. the dealer told me after the mileage or years were up the policy was out the door! and no waranty on the injectors since this was a coutesy and not a recall or an actual warranty issue. also the injectors are covered under this policy no matter how many times they go out, but they will start replacing only the ones that are bad and not all 8 because the gm rep says that they are spending to much money on that single vin.like I said mine were replaced 3 times the last being the time they replaced only 6 injectors that were bad only to go back in the next week to have the other two replaced wich went bad before i got home from the dealer..

The warranty is up for sure on the injectors but i certanly wouldnt pay $2700. you can buy 100hp injectors for half that price. Id buy the injectors somewhere else and have them installed at a diesel shop, GM, like all other dealers, do nothing but rob you of money and cheat you on service. Dealers are only good when stuff is under warranty.
