I think I remember seeing somewhere that a 6speed auto. trans was going to be available with the gas engine.

Is this true? Where can I find additional information.

I know the new 6.2's in the Denali and Escalades have the 6 speed auto. Don't know if the 6.0's will get it or not.

I thought the 6L-85E was replacing the 4L-85E across the board. GM trying to cut costs and everything...

6L90 I think. It will replace the 4l85 where it was used, Silverado, Express and Burbs.

Maybe the Duramax in the vans will be uprated to a little more power & torque then.
