The MBRP are by far and away the most popular systems, sound wise on an LLY or LBZ they are very quiet except when you mach the go pedal, otherwsie you get an increased turbo whistle etc. When you have it floored you get a nice deep roar! Call us if you have any questions we'll be glad to help you.

8100 Power- For the LBZ I suggest going with a cat-back kit and also getting a front-pipe (cat delete). This will give you the sound you are looking for. A cat-back kit will remain pretty quiet even if you go 5". You will want to remove the cat to get any kind of rumble out of it. Also, going this route you will be able to bolt the cat back in if need be. Check our site for more info and dont hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

In conjunction with what DSTRBD said also if you run a front pipe and remove the cat on the LBZ most likely you will need the finger stick and blocker plate. Might want to get that if you plan on doing an exhaust.

As of right now im looking at the T-409 MBRP 4 inch Cat back system, and keep the cat for right now and seeing how that sounds?
Any input?

I have the 4" turbo back (Aluminum) on my 07 LBZ Cruising with the windows up I can't tell any difference from stock. With window down you can hear the sweet turbo whistle, when go pedal is mashed sounds like jet plane taking off. I rate it a 9.9 out of 10 :driver:

8100 Power- Thats exactly what i would do. You can always add to it later.

how much of a necessity is this? the price of the exhaust is gonna kill me as it is nevermind adding this to the list too :p: is it something i can do in the near future when i get the money or can i sneak by it for now? do either the fingerstick or the blocker plate void the warranty??

I did a 4in cat back with no muffler on mine. It made it just a little bit louder and deeper. I wanted louder but it isn't. I do not get codes either

I did a 4" catback MBRP on mine.I don't here any more turbo but the exhaust sounds great outside.Inside I can only here a difference if I'm on the throttle. It fit great and I put it on by myself in under an hour.

HighSierra86, 8100 Power,
I always reccomend getting the cat back and seeing if it gets you the EGT drop yuo need, if you need more then add the front pipe later. It also allows you to hear how it'll sound and you don't have any worries about sticks and blockers either. Call us if you have any questions etc.
