Tim:

Only my second post here so bear with me please!

I noticed in your sig that you are running the exact wheel and tire combination that I plan on running on my 2005, if I can ever get a dealer to order one for me that is, LOL!

My new truck will be a 2005 GMC 2500HD, CC, 2WD, Duramax/Allison, etc. What can you tell me about fitment and modifications for the 285/70R17 BFG's on the H2 wheels?

I have H2 wheels with 285/65R17 Goodyears on my current 2002 GMC 1500HD 2WD, and it sure appears that the taller BFG's are gonna rub at the rear of the front fenderwells - at least on turns!

What can you tell me?

Many thanks in advance!

I had to trim about 1/2-3/4" off the bottom edge of the airdam on the GMC.

The left inner fender causes all the trouble, I use big wire ties to pull the bottom rear(emergency cable) back for clearance.

The lower front needs the same thing to flatten the ridge out or trim a couple off inches off.

No problems.
