I don't believe anyone makes a better plug then Beru in Germany. Some of the Bosch plugs hold up as well, but not all versions. If you buy Delcos, #AC60G - you will be getting the Beru plugs. Seems Delco finally stopped using their own junk and now rebox the Berus. These plugs have built-in current limiters to prevent burn-out and bursting like the older Delco plugs did just about anytime they were on for more than 9 seconds at at time.
Ford also reboxes the Beru plugs now - and sells them as Motorcraft.
Buy the AC60Gs and you cannot go wrong. If buy from a Beru dealer - instead of in the Delco box, they will probably cost slightly more.

AC Delco 60G plugs are good and give peak performance with a manual glow plug switch. They are excellent glow plugs. The last ones I bought were made in Italy... Don't know where they are being made now...

With the standard glow plug controller I have found that the original number Delco (I can't remember what it was, seems to me it was 11G or 9G, but it has been a long time - could be wrong) glow plugs perform a bit better than 60Gs.

AC Delco plugs are good. I have also heard of people having good luck with Autolite plugs, but I have no personal experience with them. There are also several aftermarket plugs from smaller companies on the market which, to my knowledge, are good quality. Check the "vendors" section of the forum... I believe there are several vendors on this board that sell glow plugs.
