In an earlier thread I was about to put the truck in the shop for a rear axle rebuild. Turns out it was in the nick of time. The bearings were eaten up as the bolt that holds the bearing tentioner in on the right of the diff. came out allowing the tentioner to come out and get eaten up. While it was apart I had the dealer do a complete brake job. The total bill was $1250. $400. for the brakes+labor, the rest bearings, bolt, tentioner, gasket, fluid,+ labor. A little pricey, but worth it, as now it's very quiet going down the road!
