I checked on the www.chevrolet.com (http://www.chevrolet.com) site looking for info on the release date of the new 07 Dmax's, and had no luck. Does anyone know?

I spoke to a GMC representative at the Connecticut Auto Show and he explained to me that both the GMC and Chevy will be available sometime in the first quarter of 2007.

P.S. Nice Chevelle!!

My neighbor ordered his new 07 last week, not an 07 classic.

My neighbor ordered his new 07 last week, not an 07 classic.

Was he able to get pricing and actually submit an order to the factory?

They should look like all the pics of the 07's, that have been released, right?

The new ones look very much like the 1500 gmt900's available now (and in stock) at many dealerships. The 2500's and 3500's aren't ready yet but should be out after the first of the year. I hope they will allow us to order the 2500 hd's soon.

07 HD's just have taller front grill than 1500's. GMC website has pictures of HD.

Pricing is already up on Edmunds.com.

If I remember right LMM is about $2k higher when all is said and done. (not as bad as some had feared)

:exactly: You're totally right davefr, the price increase of the new body 2007 Duramax is not nearly as much as everyone was thinking and saying it would be.

That's the 2006 model that's listed at Edmunds, they just have the wrong pic next to it (notice it says 2006 in small print - I'm not sure if that was there before, I only noticed the new body style pic when I first saw it).

Noproblem, I'm really looking forward to anything you can find out about your neighbor's deal - we are talking HD's aren't we?

EDIT: My bad - looks like they do list the new body style :)

Yes we are, he was not at the office today, I asked his assistant to have him call me.

I think TxDoc might be correct.

I did some searching and found this website of production start dates and they match the dates that TxDoc posted.

Heres the link to the site:

Click General Motors Trucks and you will see the new 2007 GMC and Chevy HD trucks production dates.

Excellent! So if our orders are already in, they should arrive, by end of Feb? I hope they don't get so swamped w/ orders that it ends up taking until May.

If you look at the Edmunds site for the 2007 Chev 2500HD, even though it says 2006 in small print, the models options are clearly for the NEW 2007 - LMM, LTZ versus LT3 model, new nav system, etc. etc. Same for the GMC.

I will be ready to buy my PEP vehicle around May or June so those dates would work for me. 02/26/07 is my birthday so what a good way to hit it off by starting production on the 2500HD Crew Cab!!
