Seems we have a picture fetish or something for our trucks. I would like to see some pictures of push bars and brush guards on the front. Chrome or black doesn't matter. Customized, Homemade, or right off the shelf. If you have a black truck, even better. . . .

Thanks,
Dennis

Have you looked on the www.toughcountry.com (http://www.toughcountry.com) photo page?

There is an awesome black chevy on there.

Trouthunt,

That is sweet, very much what I am looking for. How much to get it all done?

Thanks,
Dennis

I think its down because i just tried it to....Check back there in the near future.

They make one that looks very similiar with Trouts, but they have a whole page of photos, for GM's, Ferds, and Dodges...and Toyota as well.....Though the Toyotas look finny with a large bumper, even though they are a "full-size" truck.

Dennis,

The bumper was $900.00. It cost me $100.00 for the liner material. Four lights were around $475.00. For a grand total of $1475.00

P.S. You can get it without the tow hooks. Each tow hook was $75 bucks.

P.S.S I believe it is a tough country bumper. It came with the bars that come out past the head light but I ask them to leave them off and make room for four offroad lights. I also added the tow hooks. I thinks its call a "bull nose bumper" I picked it up in El Campo, Texas to save on the fright.

Truly a nice bumper.

El Campo, eh? Who carries those in El Campo? Did you stop at Mikaska's BBQ for lunch? If not, you definitely should have.Edited by: CStone

Here's my custom built bumper. I was looking at a Ranchhand like Troutman's or a Tough Country but they tend to stick out a bit. I'm fighting overall length to keep it in the garage. Mine is less than 3" from the grill.

Line X is the only way to go on a bumper. Especially up north in salt country.

The bumpers are built in El campo but I puchased it from Coyote Products in Katy, Texas.

As for Mikaska's BBQ man you hit the nail on the head! I run down to Port A to chase those saltwater trout and I can't make that trip with out stopping.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

but I don't have the guts to put it on my truck.

I think it would handle the deer problem around here.

Gray Gmax,

That might be a little much for me. I wanted something with a little protection that I can put a winch on, but not over the top. Of course, over the top to me may be just right for someone else. I wouldn't have the guts to put it on my truck either.

Thanks,
Dennis

roadarmor......yuuuup if I put that on my truck and park it next to the wife's Tonka Toy Avalanche the neighbors will think I've lost my marbles for sure.

Trouthunt, that looks great. I've got a black '02.....the small lites under the bumper next to the tow hooks, almost look like the stock fogs, are they?

Yep willowcreekstable those are the stock Fogs. That was a big seller for me. They built some tabs so the factory gear would bolt up.

Check the signature for pics of my winch and mount!

I never thought I would use this winch as much as I did these past 2 years. 2004 has been the year of MUD in my business.

Tough Country has their own store across from the Pizza Hut in El Campo. They will custom build pretty much any kind of bumper. They also do lifts and such.

And, Mikeska's is pretty much always good eatin' ! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

What kind of price was that Trail Boss? That's a pretty nice one...

I got the Trail Boss at a local shop here in Ft Worth, paid around 850.00 for it installed. The primary resaon I bought it was that the top rail does not completely follow the curve/profile of the hood/lights.

In my mind, the top rail of these bumpers always makes the headlights look like they have "eyebrows". This bumper seems to minimize that look. For Trail Boss, I believe the bumper is the same for the 2003/2003/2004.

Here is there web site in San Antonio:

Had the buckstop on for nearly a year but just upgraded to the H2 rims/tires so thought I'd upload a pic. Replaced the bumper after hitting a deer.
