For about 6 months ago I switched cab on my 97 GMC 3500-HD. I also swiched engine and drivetrain.
Orginal cab with 6.5TD and man gearbox had been destroyd in a fire, caused by an electrial fault.
How ever, because I coulnt find any replacement cab w/ man gear I switch to auto trans. Same year/model (97).
Now to my little problem; the old cab had a 6-wire connetction cab-frame, and my replacement cab only has 5. I assume that the 6th wire is for some cind of power supply or similar. How does I get this autotank switch to work?
