My 2005 has manual slide out mirrors.
I cracked the glass on the passenger side mirror.
I found a replacement mirror glass on ebay, has anyone tried replacing the glass only? Should save some $$$
Thanks in advance for any input...

Dealer does sell the glass only. It comes as a mirror and bracket that attaches to the mirror body. Basicly pull the old one off and push on the new one. I think they are under $50 at the dealer. Sometimes you can find them at auto parts stores like PepBoys or Advanced Autoparts.
The one on the e-bay site looks like it would work as long as you didn't damage the bracket that holds the mirror and hopefully the glass is cut correctly.

Yes, you can just change the glass, my dealer just changed the glass when the heated mirror element went out.

I had ordered the replacement glass from the link above...
Today it was real warm outside, so I finally got around to replacing the mirror glass. It was easy to do, took a few minutes to scrape the old cracked glass off, then used the double side tape that came with the new glass, and stuck the new one on. Easy fix for about 23.00 shipped to my door...
Just thought I would pass the word...

your original glass will pull right out. when putting the replacement in use your entire hand with flat even coverage or you will break the glass. i have replaced tons of these at the dealer.
