So when you install one of the straight through aftermarket mufflers, which way do you install it? Do you want it mounted up in there so the exhaust flows over the inside raised bumps, or whatever their called, or the other way so the exhaust actually flows into them, kinda like a little scoop? Just wondering. Thanks in advance.

If you want more air flow point the openings to the back of the truck. If you want the truck to be a little quieter point the openings to the front of the truck. It's really your choice.

The instructions that came with my MBRP said scoops back. I'd be very surprised if it made much difference either way. Looks pretty much like a straight pipe to me, but I'd bet that if it enhances the 'swirling' pattern inherent to the turbo flow already, either way would work. I have mine back and it isn't that loud, so that's what I'd say for you to do as well.

Who needs a muffler? Just run the muffler delete pipe!!! Loud pipes save lives!!!
