Just noticed my rear diff is wet from fluid. It looks like it's around the cover. Fluid level was good. Is this covered under the 100,000 mile warranty?

Rear Diff warranty is 3yr/36 months.. If your out of warranty and it's not dripping on the ground, you are probably ok since the fluid level is good. Is it wet to the touch with diff oil?

Also check the rear wheel bearing seals ... mine were leaking at 25kmiles

The bolts may just need snuging up. Sometimes gaskets shrink a bit is thickness and weep around the seems. No be cause for concern.

A lot of diff covers seem to weep. Unless you're getting drops on the ground it should be okay.

sometimes the gaskets crack or split. if you decide to pull it off go to a stealer to get a gasket you will not find one at a parts store . . . trust me, I went to 9 stores one nite and finally put off to the next day and got one from a dealer.. . . http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif
