I would like to see some aftermarket wheels with chevy center caps, I've seen some before, I would just like to see what some wheels look like with the stock hd center caps.
thanks,
Phil

The wheel has to have a pretty good sized flat around the lug nut area or else it wont work.I've tried on two different sets and they wouldn't fit.I remember seeing the older type (late 90's) caps on some wheels, but not the newer type.

Check my garage. I had to grind off the little legs on the back of my caps and a little on each bump that goes around the nuts.

That looks pretty good! I have a set of Mickey Thompson Classis Lock Wheels, I think I am goint to do that to them. My brother has a set of H2 wheels with the Chevy center caps, I like them but I never even thought to try it on my wheels. Thanks.

I found this old pic of my truck. I had to grind the little legs off the back of my caps like Nar did.

Sorry, I've got no pictures, but I've got the stock caps with H2s... Luv em! I actually got a guy who recognized the rims as H2s and wondered if they were an option on 2500 trucks... the caps gave 'em that stock look. If you don't mind the smell of burning plastic, definately worth trimming.

That looks great, do you have any side pics? Also how do you like the 187's vs. the 058's? Whats the difference?

Here is a pic of my current truck. IMHO, if you can afford chrome, get chrome!! Unless you really like polishing!!!

Here's the only other pic I have with the stock caps on:

I've been through, I can't even count how many wheels/tires setups. I've run American Racing Bajas, Eagle 058's, Mickey Thompson Classic II's, and now the Eagle 187's. They are all polished aluminum, which require some maintenance to keep looking good. They are all "hole" style wheels, just different sized holes, with the Eagle 187's having the biggest hole and a simulated beadlock.

See what happens after one winter to the 187's (I've repolished them since, and they look good again, but still not as good as when new):

do those bushwhackers give you any extra room for tire clearance, or just more tir coverage outside?

Bigblue truck looks good. Just an FYI AR Baja wheels won't allow stock caps. I am going to try tapping and using machine screws to secure them.
