Is there such a thing out there? With a hanger welded to the pipe so it supports the rest of the exhaust, and clamps. If there is one, where do I go and how much? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you just go to a muffler shop have them cut out the muffler and weld in a straight pipe. Very simple and cost you about 50 bucks...

Had local muffler shop delete muffler for 35$. Sounds great and EGTs dropped by 150. I don't see a need for a larger diameter with such results from just removing the muffler.

Shop said muffler delete is very common on Fords and GM diesels, but not Dodge. I have heard a Dodge straight pipe and its 'Harley' loud.

I don't want the straight pipe welded in. May change my mind on the sound later, I don't know for sure. Besides, any muffler shop around here wants 125 to do the job. Don't ask me why so expensive, but it's the same price all around the area.

My shop here removed my muffler and replaced with 3 1/2 pipe and cost $20. I feel I got a good deal looking at different posts. I like the sound too. Not to loud but when ya tromp on it NICE.

My straight pipe even passed the wife test. She even admitted it isn't as loud as she thought it would be.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

I just cut a piece out of my 3.5" that I took off my 3500. I put a KD 4" on it. I cut the muffler out on the 2500HD and put the new pipe in with band clamps from NAPA. Done.
