Well my 01 has been in the dealer for over 2 weeks now for the famous injector replacement.The dealer called yesterday and said parts are in.Good I said and then asked if these injectors are a new design and he said the part# was different but they are the same.My question is does anyone out there know if they actually corrected the design.


I got to believe that they waited to send out the warranty extension till they solved thier design flaw.Anybody out there with any inside scoop.If they didn't correct it I can't drive this thing with any confidence.

They are suppose to be the new style, but I herd tell they could be rebuilt.

I had 8 of them replaced and 2 weeks later 2 of them were bad. The lly motor is sussposed to be the fixed injectors.

LB7 injectors seem to be getting better, but i wouldnt bet the farm on it.
