I just made a run from Hattiesburg, MS to Marion, NC. About 645 miles each way. Unloaded I ran the Six-Gun in level 1 for two tanks of fuel, average MPG was 16.7. I then ran a tank on level 2 for 17.2MPG. Level 3 yeilded 18.6MPG running 75-85 MPH, this was in the Great Smokey mountains when the level 3 was used. I have 265 BFG AT KO's on. On the return trip pulling a brand new 38' Cedar Creek 5er the dealer tag showing a dry weight of 11,700lbs. There was approx. 600lbs of stuff loaded inside. It was 82 degrees F outside. Totally stock except what's in my sig. except a K&N filter. With the Six-Gun on 1 (basically stock) 22lbs of boost and 1175 degrees F EGT and yeilding 10MPG across the mountains. I then pulled in level 3 the max EGT's were 1250 degrees F, and pulling much harder than the stock program, I achieved 13.2MPG. The rest of the trip I ran on level 3 and averaged 13.4 MPG. Very impressed with the Six Gun so far, after Banks replaced my other Six-Gun under warranty (in another thread). I did not try to run on any higher programs.
on edit: rechecked numbers. changed 13.8mpg to 13.4. Math was good, memory was bad.

I want your 5th wheel as for my TT that has a GVWR of 9,000# max I never see better then 11.2 @ 65 mph it doesn't matter cruise or not.
You do understand that the posted dry weight is the trailer without any options and 100% empty? The average 38' 5th wheel out the door weighs more like 13,500# that is much more then the factory dry weight.

I didn't go to the scales for this one. It's my buddies I picked up for him as he had doubts as to wether he could pull it with his 2500HD with the 6.0. My 36' 5er weighs about 15,200 on the scales (loaded). The point of this thread is that the Six-Gun DID improve fuel mileage on my truck. The best is on level 3. I always average about 10MPG pulling my own 5er. Sometimes it dipped down to 8MPG without the Gun.

Keep her at 2 grand, round 67 mph, and you'll cruise your way up to around 20+ MPG strictly freeway.

I tried that once. It only lasted about 3 minuteshttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif. Most all the freeways I drive are 70-75MPH posted speed limit. It's good to know that 20+ is achievable, too bad I'll never see it. I'm just glad I got above 18 on the interstate, this is new territory for me.

I just got back from a 5,200 mile trip from MI to AZ and back towing a 26ft 7000 pound TT. My stock towing MPG was 10.5 and I got 11-11.5 and occasionally 12+ running the 6gun in level 4. Hardest part was slowing down, MPG was much better under 65 but the rig is very happy running 70+. If I could keep it under 60 I'm sure it would do much better. My best unloaded MPG is 20.5 running 60-65MPH. I'm running Level 5 right now and curious to see if my MPG is up or down. We ran a few moutain passes in southern Colorado and I could easily run the posted speed or higher, the torque reserve with Banks is very impressive.
I also have 265 BFG KO's. Other than a modified airbox and replacement muffler the truck is pretty much stock....

I also noticed the trucks happy place while pulling is about 75mph. That's where I try to keep it if conditions allow.
