My truck has been stuck in park on the jobsite since Tuesday. I did a bunch of searching on this site and found out about the brake switch (above the pedal) and the plunger switch up on the column by the shift lever. I replaced both switchs and the truck is still stuck in park. Could this be the NSBU switch? Truck is a 2001 Duramax that has been flawless up till now. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my Work truck.

ive seen a broken plastic piece on the shift cable cause this. in stead of the cable shifting the trans the cable folds in half. look at it close to the nsbu switch.
