CJATE 07-17-2004, 07:10 PM I am looking into new truck, Sure like to drive the 6.0, don’t like what I read, I herd a nasty rumor they Ford had recalled all the 6.0 Excursions, But did not understand why, , , are they fixing the "isues" with the 6.0? I believe that they are doing a big recall on the ground cable from the battery to the block because its causing fires. 04_F350 07-29-2004, 12:09 PM My 04 has over 30k on it now and it's not been in the shop and it out pulls the 03 and 04 Duramaxes here at work. The Duramax does have the better ride without weight. If you get a 6.0 that was built after March of 03 you have no more then any other vehicle to worry about.
