I replaced my fuel filter today. This is the first time I've done it myself, last year the dealer replaced it as per the "free fuel filter replacment" letter.
I was suprised that there was a lot of rust looking crud in the cavities in the head of the WIF. I got some brake clean and sprayed out all the crud from the WIF and then reinstalled in my new filter.
Is this normal? Should I worry?
