I have a 2002 GMC and when i flip on the 4x4 its a joke to try and steer when going over 10mph i looked out my window while this was happening and i could see my tire turn towards the center of the truck under acceleration. Any ideas what would cause this i need 4x4 pretty bad and dont know where to start any help would be a apperciated thanx

When was the last time you changed your Idler/pitman arms. If never, that's where I would start first. Then add a good set of Cognito braces over the replacement I/P arms. Do you have your torsion bars cranked? That also add's to the toe in condition, due to the added strain it put's on the center link under hard acceleration in 4wd. I effectively pushes up (twists) on the factory centerlink and causes the front tires to toe in.

Cognito Braces are just that, braces that make it harder for the the I/P to twist up and down under heavy acceleration in 4wd. They will also make the new I/P arms last longer under normal driving situations as well.
