They would be good for trailer towing but they wouldn't be my choice for every day use.

I'm just going to use them in the winter when towing snowmobiles. Should do a pretty good job of keeping the slush/salt off the trailer.

I like 'em. I have a very similar setup that I use for towing our travel trailer and boat. Mine clamps onto the 2 inch hitch assembly with a u-bolt, and uses 1/2 of a semi-truck mudflap on each side. Sure works good at protecting the boat and camper.

Napa Semi Mud Flaps = $8.00 a pc.


6' angle iron from hardware store = $12.00


Nut, bolts, washers, 2" U bolt = $12.00


Reflectors from walmart = $2.00
