I would like to start off by thanking all of you for your great information on this message board. I've been reviewing this forum for several months and just registered. Picked up my first new vehicle today which just so happens to be a 2004.5 duramax SLT. The 60 mile trip home erased any doubts about making this purchase. The question is, can anyone tell me what invoice price is as I forgot to ask?
MSRP was 45065, I paid 35270 with the 4000 loyalty rebate.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Regardless of invoice, sounds like you got a great price. Congratulations on your first new vehicle. You couldn't have made a better choice, unless maybe it was black. Short box or long box?

Its a short box and believe it or not I had a choice between 1 black,2 white,2 silver and 1 carbon. They said the deal wouldn't have been that sweet had I wanted a c/c which wouldn't have fit in the garage anyway.

I have found that the "California Duster" works real well in between washings to keep the dust off. I think you can get them in about any auto store. It's very soft and it appears not to leave any scratches.
