in stock form they are a little lazy at the very bottom- bring your rpms up a little as you foot brake it then smash it-- you'll have all the traction problems you need :D

Yes it has some sort of traction control....Mine cuts power when it looses traction in the rain, and cuts back power as soon as you lift your foot off the brake when doing a burn-out..I don't know how to defeat it for sure, I've experimented with the tow/haul mode and manual gear select..it worked once...

I just noticed that you have a 3500 also.....Most of these guys have 3/4 's..I wonder if there something different on these? I know for SURE mine cuts power when it loses traction, and I am glad someone else noticed/admitted it.

Use your 4 High or 2wd

There is no traction control it is called TQ management and GM puts it on everything.

From what I understand,If you have the G80 rear end you have posi traction with a slip when there is a 100rpm diff between the two wheels.

Simply put GM programs there vehicles to change timing and defuel to limit power in the lower gears and during shift points to save the drivetran. As for how it work well that is over most of our head including mine. Took the guys awhile to defeat it in the LLYs and it's probably worse in the 06s+.
