I need to change my fuel filter, I am sure there is a thread around here that has a step by step, but I sure can't find one. Can someone give me a link please or a rundown. I know I need to drain the bowl but don't know how, then I need to clean it (compressor and a blower??) and that I need to bleed the T valve when I'm done. Anything else? and how do I drain the bowl? Thanks again

thanks, but I can't even get to that point where that thread starts, I don't know how to drain the bowl, the filter box says to drain the bowl before removing the filter, but I don't know how.
thanks again

Center of the engine front is a brass valve with chrome tee handle, open that it is the drain.

While it is draining if it's not removed already, take off the turbo power cover the filter mgr is on the back of the engine under the cover, unscrew the vent so it drains better, & then unscrew the black ring that holds the filter into the bowl. remove element by pulling straight up look for the plastic screen as indicated in the pic.

Mop out bowl, close drain, install new element and partial fill bowl with fuel, secure black ring, open vent on top, you can use a hose/funnel to finish topping it off, but if you don't mind the mess key on vent open fuel will bubble to the top, or you can route a hose to a bucket from the vent to minimize the mess, while finish priming the bowl
