What is the proper lubricant for puting on the O ring of the fuel filter of a Duramax for instalation, dont want to contaminate fuel system, this will be my first fuel filter change. Thanks David

I dont know there is a proper lube per say. I have heard some use vasoline, grease and other stuff. The problem I have is that when I have used a grease, the oring does not want to stay put and I have a hard time keeping it in place. I lately have started to put them on dry and have had no problems at all
