Hey I am inbetween the 2 brands I did a few searches on the 2 lifts but didnt really find what im looking for. What do you guys think about the lifts??? I know Cognito is the DP favorite but have heard that CST is the best for our trucks. The lifts im comparing are the 10-12 Cognito and the 9-11 CST both lifts will be set at the lowest setting to keep angles nice and pretty. Let me know what you think is better and what i should go with. Both lifts are about the same price(I think I am going to pay about 150$ more for the CST)

One of the things I really like about the CST kits is that they come standard with the uniball upper arm on the 9-11 kit.
Im not sure if Cognito gives you a uniball upper arm standard with their kits???
If you've ever had a lifted truck, then you know for a fact that ball joints straight suck, especially if you do any kind of offroading.
While both kits are great lifts,
That uniball upper arm instead of a ball joint is just one extra reason that leans me towards the CST kits.

I think you mean that when upgrading to upper a-arms. CST and Cognito do not come with upper arms in there kits. They are upgrades. Also CST has a stronger uniball on there upper arms to accommodate the higher pre-load pressure from the larger tires against the shorter ball joint to uniball span. Cognito uses spindles to increase ball joint span to lower the pre load pressure on the upper arm offsetting the larger tire.
