Should be getting juiced in the next week or so and still have my stock Allison 1000. Wondering what the consensus is on what's safe to run the Juice at with a stock A1000?
I won't be towing anything any time soon - mainly in-town commuting and freeway miles (50/50). I've gathered that anything up to Level 3 on the Juice is probably safe, but wanted to be sure.
Or can I go up to 4 safely?
Thanks guys.

Some advice for the Newly Juiced.
You have two choices.............
stay under the 90 HP setting and do no holeshots and maybe the trans will live.
Replace the tranny and do whatever you want...........
Been there..............Now I am replacing the Trans Next week with a Suncoast Level III kit.

I have shown on my truck with a trans go kit on the dyno will only hold level 4. Which is about 370 rwhp and 700 ft lbs. After that, the conv slips.. That is on the dyno, on the street, I can run level 5 stacked with a pred and no ill effects.... with the trans go. Stock, it would limp with that combo

In my opinion w/stock trans, level 2 or 3 anything more will not be good.

Got a stupid question..... Suncoast Level III..... and Dmaxallitech- you said you had trans go......What all do these kits replace? after the tranny upgrade, will the rest of the drive train handle the power?
Thanks

You guys with the LLY cannot run the power levels that the LB7s are running because you start out with more torque to begin with. (as far as being safe with trans damage) 90 hp will kill it. Remember the Ally was not upgraded at all with this new motor. Manufacturers rule of thumb is 10% over what they think will handle the power. You LLY guys are over that already.

Jared, I have a Transgo kit in my truck, I have had it in now since about Oct and have had no problems with it at all. I did not upgrade the converter at that point and that is my new weak spot.
The Suncoast kits use the Trans go kit as one of the main components. The L3 kit adds a boost valve which helps control TCC lockup pressure, different clutches and steels for the top 4 clutches and also includes the single sided C1's. Add a triple lock converter and you have a nearly bullet proof trans when its all done. As far as the rest of the drivetrain, failures are very uncommon to rear axles and components. That will depend also, of course, on how you treat the truck
