I have been read alot of info on this board which is very helpfull. but befor i buy this i just want to make sure it is the right part. Is this the part i need to install an aftermarket stereo? which relocat the stock cd player.

What this does is basically keeps your chimes and low fuel lights etc. It does not relocate the factory stereo. You don't need to do that anymore with these new interfaces.


If you have on-star you will need another or different interface.
