Hey all! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Finally got my Power Pup programmer and after reading the instructions, I have some questions for those on the Place using one:

1. How do you raise/remove the speed limiter and change speedo reading w/o putting in one of their tunes? For the time being (until I can install Suncoast III http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif), I'm just going to use the unit as a diagnostic tool. Do you have to put in a tune first, then remove it later?

2. Can the unit be used to read codes on other GM vehicles? My friend Mark was looking at the unit and asked if it would work on his '97 Camaro to read trouble codes.

3. Do I have to remove my Juice/Attitude from the loop before I start playing with the Pup?

Thanks in advance for any help/advise you may have.

You should be able to install just the stuff that you want and not install any tunes. I think I read that in the book somewhere. Call Bully Dog to make sure.

You can raise the speed limiter along with changing your tire calibrations without installing power programming.

At the tune selection screen select Calibrate

The tuning opions run in a cycle

Calibate Speedo / Raise Limiter

Tune 1 (55HP)

Tune 2 (75HP?)

Tune 3 (95HP)

Tune 4 (155HP)

Thanks guys! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif Figured it out, changed the speedo and limiter. These trucks handle pretty good over 100 mph!!!!! Surprising. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
