I just installed my juice with attitude, and I am very unhappy with the change in performance. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Please advise, ANYONE!!!! I have 04 with LLY. I had 02 with LB7 with predator that reallyn ripped. This edge has slow response at low end, with dead spots before every shift point. My old predator through you back in the seat from take off. The edge clearly does not. Any ideas? Thanx. Tim

I guess the first thing that I'd say is give it a bit to learn and adapt. Start at the lower power levels also. There's a lot of "thinking" going on in the multiple brains on the truck, and it's easy to confuse them for a while...

I haven't taken an aggressive purchasing/sales approach with LLY electronics, and have actually suggested to many that they give it a bit to evolve. Unfortunately, I got stampeded by people looking to have it NOW. I guess I'll take the same approach as others and sell, sell, sell, and let the mfr take care of any problems that crop up.Edited by: Kennedy

"slow response at low end, with dead spots before every shift point"

Aren't there user settings for things like low-boost fueling and shift-pt defueling with J/***?

Give it some time to learn.

Mine hesitated pretty drastically during shifts when I had full defueling on at first. I drove it a few days and the problem cleared up. Shifts just like stock now.

The dead spots at shifts is the defueling between the shifts. You need defuelling between shifts to save the tranny. The predator does not defuel between shift and is bad on a stock tranny. Hope this helps. You can change the defuel at shifts under transmission settings but I would not advise this on a stock tranny but since you had the predator before without defueling, you might as well keep taking chances.Edited by: BassinRVer

There is a setting for low boost - high responsiveness. You get more smoke on this setting before the turbo spools up.

Take if off and put on the Banks box...Isn't that what everyone says if they have an issue with a Banks?.."take it off and put on an edge"http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif...
